I was initially running the BUPA 10k in may 2014 to raise funds for the British lung foundation so they could look into treatment for people with lung conditions. Since the sudden and sad passing of my mum in march 2014, I am now doing it in memory of her. Mum knew this before she died and was proud and delighted that this is what I am doing. As tough as it is for me, training will resume, and I will do this for HER and also to help people in the future who need help............we never know what's ahead of us!!!! RIP my beautiful mammy!
